It takes quite a few stones to do this, while maintaining the television rights for the Nationwide Series (the series she formerly helped to oversee as an official).
Also, veteran journalist Ed Hinton has been hired by ESPN.com to work on its motorsports site--you'll remember his series in the Orlando Sentinel on NASCAR safety (or lack of it) in 2001. He knows where the skeletons in the closet hide and if past form is any indication, is not afraid to throw open the door to said closet.
